IPL - Photorejuvenation - Melanin Pigmentation - Vascular Pigmentation
Light energy applied to the surface of the skin tissue simultaneously tightens superficial collagen, stimulates collagen production, evens skin tone and colouration. A by-product of the treatment is the reduction of fine line wrinkling and fresh, rejuvenated, youthful looking skin tissue.
Light energy can be applied to the melanocytes (the cells producing the brown pigment melanin responsible for tanning, sun damage, age spots and liver spots). Degradation of the melanin and melanocytes erases brown surface discolouration, evens and rejuvenates appearance.
Light energy applied to haemoglobin and red blood cells degrades the red pigmentation that causes surface skin conditions including rosacea, spider veins and broken capillaries. The appearance of these conditions can be dramatically reduced without invasive procedure. |
